Saturday: Arrival Sivota, Lefkada
Sivota is a beautiful bay and provides a safe shelter for our fleet. Along the small port of Sivota are a number of nice fish taverns and restaurants. Our jetty is managed by Theo, owner of the restaurant 12 Gods. This restaurant is also the base for our briefings and joint dinners.
Sunday: Fiskardo, Kefalonia
Fiskardo on the island of Kefalonia, is a place that you will certainly remember because of the color of the houses. This village was the only one to survive the earthquake of 1953. This place is very cozy and beautiful and therefore popular! Many terraces on the water, trendy; the Monaco of the Ionian Sea.
Monday: Poros, Kefalonia
Poros can be found in the southwest of the island of Kefalonia. There is always a lot of life in the port due to the ferry which docks here. The walk to the village is very nice with a wide boulevard; on one side is the beach, on the other side the restaurants, the shops and the bars.
Tuesday: Great Vathi, Ithaca
When you hold port side in the bay, you end up at a small quay, near Sebastiaan’s restaurant Tsiribis. From here it is about a 20 minute walk to the village.
Wednesday: Spartagori, Meganissi
Spartagori is a beautiful bay on the island of Meganissi. The traditional village lies on top of a hill, with narrow alleys and traditional cottages; lovely for walking with beautiful views of Skorpios island. The restaurant, which is located directly on the beach (Spilia), is run by two brothers.
Thursday: Karnayo, Meganissi
Meganissi is a small (20 km²) island southeast of Lefkada. Immediately starboard in the bay lies Karnayo. A small family tavern with private beach and jetty is where we will moor. We then organize the now well-known ‘Sunny Regatta’; a tour around Meganissi.
Friday: Sivota, Lefkada
Back to home base. Where you can refuel at the jetty before (unfortunately) the suitcases have to be packed. In the evening you can have a delicious dinner at the restaurant 12 Gods

Sunday: Kalamos, Kalamos
Kalamos is a very green island with many pine trees and pine forests. On the island there are all kinds of small, deserted, sandy and pebble beaches. The seawater is turquoise and crystal clear. It is a mountainous island that is loved by sailors. Although Kalamos is very small, the highest peak is 745 meters!
Monday: surprise
We will keep this gem to ourselves for a while. At this place we build a raft with long lines to the rocks and everyone organizes their own Captains Dinner.
Tuesday: Eufemia, Kefalonia
The port of Eufemia has a cozy lively promenade decorated with small palm trees. In this village a scene from the movie ‘Captain Correllis’s Mandolin’ was shot. Eufemia has several restaurants, bars and small shops on the promenade near the harbor.
Wednesday: Vassiliki, Lefkada
Vassiliki is the surf paradise of Lefkada. There is regularly a bit more wind in this large bay, which makes sailing here so popular. The port is surrounded by the village and numerous (traditional) restaurants.
Thursday: Nidri, Lefkada
Nidri is a cozy seaside resort on Lefkada. Here we moor at the jetty of Hotel Iris and we are on a mooringline. In the evening, a delicious BBQ buffet can be organised.
Friday: Sivota, Lefkada
Back to home base. Where you can refuel at the jetty before (unfortunately) the suitcases have to be packed. In the evening you can have a delicious dinner at the restaurant 12 Gods.
Zakynthos route (2 weeks) June 14 till June 28 and September 13 till September 27

Wednesday: Zakynthos Town, Zakynthos
Zakynthos town is the capital of the island of Zakynthos. It was almost completely ruined in 1953 by a heavy earthquake. Zakynthos town has about 12,000 inhabitants and is a modern town with many buildings in classic style. There are streets with arched vaults, churches with imposing bell towers, beautiful squares and important monuments. The port of Zakynthos is also located in this town.
Thursday: Katakolon, Peleponissos
Katakolon consists of three streets, with several (fish) restaurants with cozy terraces on the water. Katakolon is ‘the gateway’ to the famous Olympia, where the Olympic Games were organized centuries before Christ.
Friday: Katakolon, Peleponissos
For those who like it, we organize a trip to Olympia. For those who want to stay in Katakolon, you can go to the vast beach or sail (in consultation).
Saturday: Laganas Beach, Zakynthos
Laganas is located on one of the longest bays in Greece and is in total almost nine kilometers in length. A large part off the coast is part of the protected Marine Park. Worldwide, the bay of Laganas belongs to the area with the most breeding grounds of the Mediterranean turtle species: the Caretta sea turtles.
Sunday: Laganas Beach, Zakynthos rest day
Relax, dive, snorkel or sail. The program is completely free today; so do whatever you feel like doing and go turtle spotting.
Monday: Agios Nikolaos, Zakynthos
The village of Agios Nikolaos itself is not that big and is scattered in the bowl-shaped bay. On the north side of Agios Nikolaos is the fishing port. From the terrace of the tavern directly by the sea you have a beautiful overview of the fishing port (a quieter place) and in the distance the hustle and bustle of the day excursions.
Tuesday: excursion Blue Caves and Anti-Sami Bay, Kefalonia
In the morning we organize, for those who like it, an excursion to the Blue Caves, then we sail out to the Anti-Sami Bay on the island of Kefalonia. This bay is surrounded by green mountains and a beach, which consists of small white pebbles, and several beach bars. There are also various water sports and activities to do here.
Wednesday: Fiskardo, Kefalonia
Fiskardo is a cozy fishing village in the north of the island of Kefalonia. It has a picturesque, colorful harbor where many sailing yachts moor. In the harbor there are many shops, terraces and restaurants. This beautiful, picturesque fishing village is one of the few villages on Kefalonia that was not destroyed in the earthquake of 1953. The traditional and Venetian buildings are still intact and give the village a unique charm and atmosphere.

Monday: Lefkada Town
Lefkada town, also called Lefkas town, is a cozy town. There are plenty of restaurants and fish taverns and the locally made dishes are very good. On the west side of the harbor you will find several bars with terraces on the water and on the east side are mostly restaurants and cafes. Of course we dine at Ey Zhn; a small tavern in town, run by Chef Alex.
Tuesday: Parga, mainland
Parga is recognizable by the fortress ‘Kastelli’ in the hills and the long sandy beach. In the evening we are taken by water taxi to the cozy center of Parga to wander in the many streets that Parga has to offer. We dine at W&F Wine & Food at beautifully set tables with a view of the sea.
Wednesday: Parga, mainland
Today we stay in Parga, so there is time to wander in the many streets that Parga has to offer, but of course you can also go to the beach. For those who wish, we start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet at Cape North West. The rest of the day is spent freely and in the evening we dine here again, where seductive flavors, inspiring ingredients and gastronomic mastery are harmoniously combined in a menu of exquisite creations.
Thursday: Mongonissi, Paxos
Mongonissi is located south of Paxos, just 4 kilometers away from the capital Gaios. What makes this small island so unique is the complexity of the landscape. In addition, the deep blue sea, the sandy beach and the impressive caves form an ideal landscape. We continue our Culinary sailing trip at Mongonissi Beach Bar. Their motto is: We serve you as we would serve our friends.
Friday: BBQ bay, mainland
A beautiful sandy beach on the mainland, where in the evening a BBQ is organized especially for the flotilla. Before that time you can swim, but there are also various water sports and activities offered. This will be a special bbq, specially adapted to our route.
Saturday: Corfu town
At the foot of the fort is Mandraki, a small ‘’club’’ port. Here we are on mooringline and from here it is a small walk to Corfu Town. The beautiful fortresses, the Venetian-style houses, the impressive squares, the narrow alleys and cozy terraces ensure that it is a city that makes a great impression. We dine here, at the foot of the fort, by the water.
Sunday: Red Rock, mainland
This will be a Culinary surprise, but certainly also a surprise in terms of place. This unique bay is perfect for a cozy ‘walking dinner’.
Monday: Lakka, Paxos
The bay of it is bowl-shaped. The seawater in the bay has the most beautiful colors of blue and partly because of the olive trees and cypresses that grow up to the coastline, it looks like a lake. The harbour town has its own sailing club and a small promenade with numerous terraces. We dine at Akis Fish Bar & Restaurant with a beautiful location right on the water. The restaurant serves a selection of quality Mediterranean cuisine.
Tuesday: Lakka, Paxos
We stay on Paxos today, because it is more than worth touring around the island. The west coast of Paxos has beautiful cliffs and here you can look for your own private beaches.
Wednesday: Preveza, mainland
Preveza is a coastal town in western Greece. In the old town of Preveza it is wonderful to stroll through the narrow streets with the Seitan Bazaar, the Venetian clock tower from 1752, the Venetian fortress Agios Andreas from the 18th century and stately mansions from the 19th century. We have dinner at Kaixis Mermaid Restaurant, where the ‘Amvrakia Shrimps’, a recipe from grandmother, are recommended.

Here we unfortunately end our culinary journey, not in terms of the place and the restaurant, but the journey is over. Nevertheless, we will end this special trip together in an appropriate way!

Tuesday: Argostoli, Kefalonia (30 miles)
Argostoli is the capital of the Greek island of Kefalonia. This city is located in the south of the island, on the bay of Argostoli. There is a nice shopping street, there are cozy terraces and a beautiful walkway to the other side of the bay. This Drapanos Bridge at the entrance to the city is 900 meters long and, unlike most buildings in Argostoli, has withstood the earthquakes of 1953.

Monday: Palairos mainland or Nidri, Lefkada (13 miles)
Palairos is a small seaside resort. There is a small marina in town and on the main square are all kinds of restaurants, bars and cafeterias. At the harbor is a small sand-pebble beach, but the longest beach is just outside the town. On these beaches all kinds of water sports are possible. When the weather does not allow us to anchor loosely in the bay of Palairos we move to Nidri. Here we moor at the jetty of Hotel Iris and we are on a mooringline. In the evening, a delicious BBQ buffet can be organised.
